Moretti Caffe @Home Societe
About This Spot
Stepping into Moretti Caffe @Home Societe is like finding a quiet corner of Italy nestled within Toronto’s bustling industrial edges. Tucked away on Cartwright Avenue, this inviting spot carries a gentle calmness that makes it a welcome retreat from nearby urban energy. The pace here is unhurried, the ambiance filled with soft murmurs and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the subtle warmth of wood and soft lighting.
Moretti Caffe @Home Societe feels like a thoughtful neighborhood café where every detail—from the carefully crafted espresso to the inviting breakfast dishes—reflects a sincere dedication to simple pleasures. Whether you’re settling in for a morning cappuccino or a leisurely brunch, the experience is quietly special. The menu is a reflection of Italian comfort with a modern touch, offering everything from richly sauced pastas to buttery croissants and delicate tiramisu. There’s a sense that each plate is made to invite slow savoring and cozy conversation.
The space carries a relaxed elegance that draws you to linger, whether you’re catching up with friends, stepping away from a busy afternoon, or marking a small occasion. Despite its location near a more industrial neighborhood and the bustle of nearby Yorkdale Mall, the café manages to feel like a hidden gem, removed from the usual crowds and noise. You can hear the occasional clink of cups and quiet laughter, underscoring a warmth that isn’t rushed or overly polished, but genuinely welcoming.
The service here adds a quietly human touch—attentive without being intrusive, making guests feel as if they are dropping by a friend’s well-loved table. The occasional plate of tenderly prepared seafood pasta or a smooth and balanced coffee only adds to the ease of embracing the moment. Moretti Caffe offers an experience that balances casual comfort with thoughtful flavors, perfect for those who appreciate food that feels as authentic as the atmosphere itself.

What a charming and convenient place!Tucked away on a peaceful street, this cafe offers delicious food, warm and friendly service, and a serene atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing meal. You can check it out for coffee, tea, dessert or a full meal. Would definitely visit again.

This was the second time here. We came on my birthday for brunch. The cafe is tucked away in the middle of an industrial area near yorkdale mall. The food was great, I ordered their pancakes again for the kids (forgot to take a pic) along with other brunch meals. Prices are on the higher end, but it was fresh. My Fiancée and son enjoyed their sandwiches. Service could be better. We shouldn't have to ask for water or plates.

We were originally at Yorkdale Mall and wanted to go for some coffee and tea in the afternoon, but the cafes and other coffee places were crowded, and the lines were long and the height of busyness. So we looked up a place nearby outside the mall and found Moretti Caffe @House Societe. 6 min drive from the mall. The gentleman serving us was very accommodating, and the desserts we had were so divine! This place is connected to the House Societe, which you can enter at the back of the Moretti Caffe. Unfortunately, a table next to us had a rude and entitled individual towards the server, which disrupted the middle of our time there. The server was kind and respectful in response to the impatient customer. Other than that, we had a nice time. We hope to come back for a meal next time! The breakfast menu looks really appetizing!
